JIB Accountant
Downtown Denver client seeking a JIB accountant
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Monthly JIB processing
* Ensure monthly JIB and other accounting deadlines are met
* Maintain JIB allocations and JOA compliance on a monthly basis through joint account
* Prepare JE’s for prior period corrections to the joint account
* Review and prepare audit exception
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business (with an accounting emphasis) is preferred, however, experience in lieu of degree will be considered
* Minimum of 3 years oil and gas (recent) industry experience, to include joint interest with strong accounting theory application
* Knowledge of financial statements and month-end accounting procedures
